Sat, 14 October 2006 Video Sandbox 33: Google Me
If you had $1.65m. What would YouBuy? Well, If you're Google you rip a page from the Bill Gates' business strategy playbook. Can't beat 'em - buy 'em!
What will Google do with YouTube? Maybe be the gatekeeper for all advertising? Charge ... oh, maybe... networks for uploading promos for feature films and TV shows. Or running those annoying 15 second Microsoft and American Express ads before the video begins playing.
Y'know somewhere Gates and Ballmer are all cuddly and cooing, "They get it! They get it!"
I don't know why, I have a feeling that somehow Rumsfeld is involved and has denied everything. But that's just me.
This week, the Plant Psychic returns, humans are conditioned and learn the simple steps to play the rehab card. And help me figure out a contest idea for a shuffle. Best reason to play the rehab card?Comments[2] |
Fri, 6 October 2006 Video Sandbox 32: Pod, pod, pod
I'm starting to really become scared by now. Apple is turning into Microsoft in terms of sheer hubris. They want to control usage of the word "pod;" I want to control the word "keyboard." All I ask is that each unit of any product using the word "keyboard" send me a penny per unit sold. Steve, my accountants will be getting back to you with a number in the near future.
We have all had our fun with Senator Stevens' remark about the internet being "a series of tubes." But I feel that it was taken out of context. So, this week, Senator Stevens gets his due.
And, believe it or not, humans are still conditionally questionable. And we'll prove it. Twice.
Dennis proposes a way to lead Stevenote attendees into Chapter 11 with as little effort as possible. You don't even have to leave your chair. I wonder if they'll also have a complimentary on site judge and a cesspool of attorneys?Comments[2] |
Sat, 30 September 2006 Video Sandbox 31: All Creatures Great and Small
I have one great suggestion that could not only settle whose guilty or not guilty at Gitmo and at the same time save billions of dollars. The source - you'll be as surprised as I was when it dawned on me.
There's a theme to this week's show like on Merv Griffin (ask Grandpa). We check the condition of humans, animals and plants.
And some really interesting Podsafe Music. So enjoy the show, enjoy you're week and enjoy fall. And buy bonds (ask Grandpa).Comments[2] |
