The most important fact that you will take away from this week's episode is that pandas and liquor don't mix. I have the proof, 80%. If that's all you learn this week, I will have been of service.
But it doesn't stop there. Far from it. Inquiring minds want to know - why do men's cotton briefs come in zip-lock bags? It's an enigma, wrapped inside a riddle, inside this stupid resealable plastic bag! And why? Are freshness dates next? It's nice to know that some government agency is concerned with my loins. Or is it?
Then Dennis confesses. He has iMac envy. Light an extra candle for Dennis tonight.
And, naturally, some podsafe music for you to sample. And all of this in one, single download. Absolutely free. For you, that is. This show is costing me an arm and a leg.Comments[0] |

What was I thinking? I just left the MUG meeting and we made our usual foray to the diner. I promised myself just a bagel.
But like Lorelei sang her siren song, dashing hapless sailors against the rocks, those pancakes were calling out to me. Each griddle cake knew my name. It was no contest.
What has this to do with Episode 29, you ask? Not a thing. But it's a lesson that hope all other MUG members will heed.Comments[0] |

We're beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel. The computer is running better than it has in years and I tied up a lot of personal loose ends. So now we can get back to things.
This week we are going to focus on Apple's September 12th Showtime in Paris. Plus we're going to get serious over the politics of journalism. Then we'll blow-up a pony.
And I still need an idea from you, the viewers, as to what to do for our next contest.

Fri, 1 September 2006 Video Sandbox 27: Back to the Future
It's been a rough couple of weeks, but still, we were able to hobble together a couple of episodes with tape and chewing gum. So we're back, just in time for the end of summer.
But we're patient. We're loyal. And we will be back when you return from the holiday. So, this weekend, run your iPods empty. We'll have our latest show at the ready to fill it up when you return home.
This week, we have a piece from DCLugi, od-edd and the latest examples of the Human Condition.
And we will have to come up with another contest to run. We're open to suggestions. And I'll root around for a prize. Send your suggestions should be sent to chief@thevideosandbox.com.Comments[0] |
