Video Sandbox 26: Forever young Regarding this week’s Video Sandbox—the weekly, official vodcast of Macsimum News— this week we announce the winner of “Boy, That Sucks, who wins a free copy of SuperDuper!. There’s me, then there’s you, then there’s a scandalous sex video, then Dennis Sellers and finally some music from the PSM Network. Also, do you have any shorts or videos of rants that you would like to see on ShoutThing? Just send me an URL where I can download it and give it a gander. You could be on an upcoming episode. Submissions should be 5 minutes or under in length. Send me the info at shout@thevideosandbox.com. WARNING: There may be no episode next week as my Mac is screwed up (I played with the … root). So, if there’s no episode next week, go outside, breathe deeeply, pound your chest and light up a cigarette. Maybe read a book. Or go see Sam Jackson and the ************ snakes on the ************ plane. You can subscribe to Video Sandbox through iTunes, FireAnt, and Democracy. Or just copy and paste into the aggregator of your choice. The new edition will be available Friday evening.

Video Sandbox 25: Boxers or Briefs? All of my life I've worn either briefs or gone commando. But for the first time in my life, I'm considering boxers. Why? I've been asking myself the same question all week (had some time to kill). I'm not sure if it's age or mental pause. But, I've already told you more than you wan to know. Plus, Mel Gibson has been taking a lot of heat from the media and rightfully so. No one should condone such remarks. But they are amplified more if you're a public figure than if you were a regular schmoe. So, Tiddles and I decided to see if we could take a little pressure off of him. Also in this weeks episode, Dennis recaps the WWDC announcements and it's the last week of our "Boy, That Sucks" contest. Your last chance to win a free copy of 'SuperDuper!,' the best backup software for your buck, IMHO. Hey, listen ... if you are gonna drop by, could you pick up some beer? And maybe something to munch on?

Video Sandbox 24: New Ride Unveiled at Disneyworld Disappointed at what actor Mel Gibson sees as the 'Hollywood liberal elite,' Mr.Gibson has convinced the top brass at Florida's most profitable pleasure resort to erect a new ride named, "Shalom, Officer: The Ride." Described as a "3-D, interactive extravaganza," the rider is transported first to the Pacific Coast Highway where he appears to sit next to Mr. Gibson while he confronts a California Highway patrolman. In this re-enactment, Mr. Gibson makes no anti-semetic references, but instead says to the officer, "Dang, but those are spiffy shoes!" Mr. Gibson's publicist, when asked whether or not this was an effort to glaze over his recent DUI incident, the publicist said, "In no way does this dismiss Mr. Gibson's behavior. By the way, would anyone like a pickle?" In this week's episode, Rhona, who is carrying Dr. Featherton's baby as the result of a brief fling, is disheartened by the news that the Washington Nationals didn't deal Alfonso Soriano to Oakland before Monday's trade deadline. There's also some other stuff in the trunk.
